AfterImage Internet Consultants has been active on the Internet since 1996. The company provides consulting services to Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in The Netherlands and Belgium; it specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) and website promotion.

The AfterImage website, which is available in Dutch and English, contains an SEO blog describing industry news and, occasionally, the results of experiments ran by company principal, Mr Marcel Feenstra.

Mr Feenstra studied Dutch Language and Literature as well as Comparative Literature at Utrecht University. In addition, he holds an advanced degree in Computer Science, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business (Dartmouth College) and a MALD in International Relations from the Fletcher School (Tufts University). He has written for several computer magazines in Dutch and English, and has also published books in both languages; he has been an editor at the Open Directory Project (ODP, a.k.a. DMOZ) since 2002.
